They are reliable but are high maintenance. As far as working on the car once you get down and learn simple things and do research I find it easier to work on a rotory then a piston engine. Everything is more simplified. When buying the car main things to look for are does it idle good, does it smoke on startup, also check out the wipers because its common for it to go out. When you physically drive the car make sure you get on it and go past 3800 because thats when the secondary injectors come on, its a common thing to have a slight hesitation. Good luck.

a car's only as reliable as it's taken care of. If the car is properly maintained and always taken care of like it should be it'll last forever.. if the car is abused and neglected don't expect it to keep on ticking.

To start off, what are you looking for that you didn't get in these identicle threads that you posted?

Perhaps something that hasn't been posted for you yet: The engine core itself is as reliable, if not more reliable than a typical piston engine. It pretty much works or it needs to be rebuilt.

No offense, but the way your post is phrased would likely discourage a lot of people from replying. Posts that indicate you're looking for something along the lines of a civic don't go over well. The gramatical errors and slang tend to just add to people's impressions.
