I hope to do buisness with you soon. If i'm gonna have to put this off i might as wel put something like a 13brew in right? what do i need, computer, motor mounts, uh???? i dunno honestly. thanks for replying BTW how much do you pay for the engines?

Mike - I'm in southern indiana, but not for long...
know anyone close with a series 4 13bt

Mazda Dealership wants $6300 to put a remanufactured engine in 1900 for engine 1000 for turbo and 3400 to install GODDAMN

well sorry for acting childish i guess thats that

No worries man, I understand how it is to have your motor killed. My importer gets them first, so he can inventory them and make sure that everything is ok with them. Then once his inventory is complete (usually one day) then I start to inform people on the waiting list and start to offer them for sale to intersted parties. You could install a 13B-REW but that is a rare engine for us to get since it is hard to find good ones over there to meet our standards. That involves either alot of work using the stock harness and ECU, a PowerFC or the like, or a Haltech etc. more info on that conversion is easily found by doing a search here in the forum.

My prices are confidential But believe it or not not much less than what we charge.

I wouldn't trust the dealer with my car to be honest since they aren't as rotary savvy as they once used to be.

Good luck, and let me know if I can help in any way.

you are NOT going to fit anything other then your year/modle engine in in less then 6 days... much less a few months. don't even bother with anything else.

why do you need a new turbo??

And it is possible to put an engine in, in 6 days or less.. if it takes more then your a complete moron.
dude, I feel your pain, but seriously, it aint gonna happen.

1. ANYBODY can swap a motor in a Full 12 hour day

2. there is no way that you will get the motor there in less than 6 days, it will have to be shipped frieght unless you find it local

3. Whats the big rush?

Yep we have a 13B-RE Cosmo engine left. They are very similar to the 13B-REW FD motors, but much better IMHO. Just look at the pictures of the ones on my site. You would need a Haltech or similar, and you would need the motors mounts from K2RD.com for it to bolt to the frame. You would also need intercooler piping and a FMIC. The motors run $1800 and are complete long blocks. Here are a few pictures of them:

Where in Southern IN

I am in Borden IN. just outside of New Albany, I might be able to help you if the timing is right. Where did you get the price for the motor? I might be able to get you a better price from Craig and Landreth Mazda. The Service/Parts Manager is a friend and we get a Kentuckiana RX-7 Discount(not on motors) and this might help you with some parts you may need. Let me know if I can help. terry@kentuckianarx7club.com

You need 1 intercooler, and convert the twins to non seq, dont forget about the lightened flywheel and pilot bearing and seal. These are automatic motors ...

Check this link out for more pictures of the motor I have

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=61869

Also heres a good page on non seq mod

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/n...ntial.html#BOO

Stroll around that page and see what you find out and then let me know
