This has me a little concerned too. Some of us have expensive\rare composite hoods, the single bolt on the hood looks like it could rotate VERY easily allowing the ball joint to contact and possibly break the hood.

FD3S777 any chance of having a 2 bolt bracket made instead?

imo, fd3s777 has the right idea, his set up is very close to tein's... the tein one only mounts to the hood with one bolt, but its a very secure bolt cause its mounting to the bracket for the hood... and is it just me or has titanium highjacked 2 threads now...?

Not saying our way is perfec but it sounds by your logic if tein did it, it must be right?

One bolt is not enough to secure it properly.

I spent a good deal of time over the weekend hunched over my fenders. If my hood struts looked like those my fender cover wouldn't stay on nor would I be able to lean on the fender.

sure you will. maybe while you're at it you can refund mine and other members money for the fender vents you sold to all us rx8club members that fell apart after installation.

Not to hijack the thread but I snagged at set from a Junkyard 04Hyundai Tiburon for $7 and it literally took my 11 minutes to unbolt my FC hood and mount the shocks. Painted them Green and Tein's my uncle.

Be creative people!

Damn
