It retains the Integrity of cooling, or keeping air directed, to your Radiator as the stock panels did. Nothing more.

I'd hypothesize that the stock ones would cool better than the panel. Reason being Is, there Is now more volume of air going up to the panel, before It's redirected to the Radiator, respectively. As opposed to the stockers ones. The air follows a linear direction. Rather than an up and back fashion. Again, just hypothesizing.

Also, I was going to get this same panel from Dave but I didn't like how my Crane Cams Ignition Box was concealed. ie. to see and adjust functions on the box, btw.

Well, can't you Invision what I'm trying to suggest? Sound plausible?

I think that is purely cosmetic. It would cover up everything in front of the radiator, which is just that bumper support, the water tank for overflow, the hood latch assembly, etc. It would really clean things up, but I doubt if it has any function what so ever.

they are purely cosmetic, unless you're missing a lot of crap infront of the rad. they wouldn't deacrase functionality in anyway since only about 1/4 of the air that hits the rad. actually goes through it.

Where did you get that crazy idea? If the stock undertray and upper plastic panels are in place, all of the air entering at the front will be forced through the radiator. That's what they're there for.

Personally I think those panels are ugly because of all those holes you need in them for everything to work properly. I certainly wouldn't pay money for one. And why is no-one crying "rice" over cosmtic carbon fibre? I think it's tacky...
