Fc3c bucket seats?
Hey all, I just bought a 1990 Fc3c rx7 I was wondering about the possibility of putting bride Eurostar racing seats in it but I have not seen any convertibles with racing seats. is installation possible/easy enough?
The seat brackets should be the same regardless if the car is a coupe or convertible. The higher quality brackets I've seen are the Street Faction brackets and a new brand called Garage Star. I'm currently using the street faction brackets. It's relatively straight forward. 4 bolts hold the bracket. 4 Allen bolts mount the seat on the side. Be careful when removing the existing bolts. The threads tend to strip on the frame itself. I recommend retapping them and installing new hardware.
