I like the Round ones..the square ones give you a rough ride!.
.(dude..you got a Clunkin in your rear...heh..is that yer DIFF?..nope..dat's mah square tyres!)
Seriously though,I think this is a "whatever your taste is"..Price,looks,and functionality all come into play too.
I had Some XXR 006's on then my latest is the older Mustang Bullit Wheels.( that fit really nicely)
I always like the 17 inch size..for the variety of tire sizes available.
16's are not to my liking as you are limited by what you can get..and personally an 18 inch wheel is getting close to making the car look like a FOUR BY FOUR ..!

I agree on the 17" size, 18" always looks to me like it's trying too hard.
My favorite wheels for the FC are something multispoke, and usually a little bit angular to contrast the rest of the car. I personally don't like chrome.
Just my $.02, I will upload a picture of my wheels later.

I have 16's on the car because the tires were almost new when I decided to do a change, but I agree that 17's are the way to go along with 225/45 and 255/40.

17" enkei
I bought these in 17" 7.5
I haven't put them on yet, I'm waiting to put my KYB adjustables and Tanabe drop springs on first. I'll put up pictures when I finally get them on.

Rule of thumb when buying wheels:
"Light, strong, cheap. Pick two."
RPF1s are a great compromise.
I think by "basic" he meant 4-lug, ie phone dial wheels. They aren't on your 'vert. Your wheels are 114.3 x 5
17x 8 and 9 with a +35 offset is about perfect for an FC in my opinion.

perfect!
Personsally, I find ironman's wheels too spindly for the FCs zoftig body profile.
I'll plus 2 styx's Mustang Bullet choice...I've had 'em for seven years now and have yet to find anything I like better.
I'd like to put 'em on the Z too.
