NY FC Turbo Manifold

Could someone post pics of a 2nd gen manifold (stock)? I have a manifold and am not sure what it is for (definitely has same exhaust ports but not sure about the turbo). Thanks.

Well, Google guarantees images.

Sourced from AaronCake.net

I should point out that he has a spacer added between the manifold and the engine block in that image.

that's an S4 style, the S5 is much shorter and has a rectangular T3 style flange.

not sure what you're asking as I have no idea what the application is for this manifold. looks like rx7 but it might not be (just the exhaust ports do)

i don't know who makes it but i don't believe it is SSautochrome. those were all built with tubular thin wall cheap stainless. this one is preformed halves which is a much better design. i'm running the same manifold on my S4 now with the T70 turbo and no issues.

it also has brace tabs to give it more rigidity if you actually make braces/supports for it, which i have never seen on the SSautochrome units.

ideally i still prefer the HKS/Greddy cast iron log manifolds, i just wish they would make a divided version.

Obviously, I'm a turbo noob (relatively). I'm glad to see it may be a little better unit, but my other question is (maybe more general) is what types of turbos would fit? Because of the various bolt holes, will almost any single turbo fit?

It is either for an FC or an FD.
I just looked at the SS Autochrome(brand name) manifold and it doesn't have the wastegate flange like yours.(so it is not an SS Autochrome Manifold)

s3 (12A T)

s4 (undivided w/ actuator)

s5 (fully divided)

It looks to be a T4 flange, so any T4 frame turbo would bolt up.

it looks identical to mine which would mean it is a T4 flange, the flower bolt pattern is universal for the rectangular and some square flanged wastegates.

fits any 13B engine, just would require a Turbo lower intake manifold for whatever application.

there really isn't any rule of thumb for most aftermarket turbo manifolds. i have used manifolds stated for 13B-REWs on FCs and vice versa. it really depends on the turbo and it's positioning and compressor outlet aim. FCs have a bit more room to work with than the FDs do so there are many more styles for the FC engine bay.

So if I were to sell this or trade it...how would I advertise it? Also, how much would it be worth (give or take)?

Thanks

Advertise it as an FC turbo manifold with T4 flange. It's sort of like a knock-off of the HKS or Greddy undivided manifolds. That is a flange that fits HKS style wastegates.

Even though it may fit on an FD you won't find many takers.

hard to give it a value since i have no idea who made that run of manifolds but you may get $50-125 for it.
