You WILL have cooling problems with the 4" core and AC. Especially if you use an E-Fan.

i think it is the same core size as the greddy 2 row. performance would range about the same. only difference is that it is positioned a little further back.

take the core size in inches.

For example...

A 24x12x3 inch core

Equates to 864, i think, just did it in my head.

So, you can flow 86.4lbs of air a minute through it, and cool it effectively, as a rough estimate at least.

So just look at your compressor map and see the most amount of air youll be flowing at the boost pressure you want and see if it will "outflow" the intercooler.

This isn't an exact science though, just what the pattern i've seen is.

So you're gonna' need something that equates to 606 cubic inches, for the core size, not the overall size. For 400hp on a 60-1.

my old school kit like that was fine at 350rwhp, how much are you looking for? You could always get alky/water injection if you're shooting for alot of hp. It's a nice core and has been proven so I wouldn't worry about it for anything up to about 400hp or so. I would just wrap the pipe that goes over the intake with some thermal tape and exhaust wrap. (keep those ait's down)
