FC trans = FD trans??

Well Ive owned both cars and I cannot tell the difference between the two. They both seem to have very long gearing and capeable of high hp numbers. My question is what is the real differences between the two, if there are any.

This has been covered before.

Input shaft length
Bellhousing
Possible 5th gear ratio different
FD trans uses more synchros, I think

No, they are not swappable due to the different mounting designs.
FD uses PPF, while the FC uses a typical underhung bracket.
