I'm running tokico HP's and teins but the teins didn't fit stock wheels. They rubbed the tire on the front.

KYB makes several classes of shocks/struts, hat ACXs are very good, the Gr2 are ok and the gas-adjust are not designed for performance or for stiff spring rates.

I have several friends with the KYB AGX shock absorbers and they are pleased with them (driving their cars is much more fun than driving my (almost) stock one).

You need stronger shock absorbers if you use stiffer springs.

Tein Flex Type.
The KYB AGX were nice.
The Tein Coilovers are 5x better.

i have tokico blues with rb springs...a little stiff but im ok with then for now, the shocks r awesome but with the springs, it changed my ride height look, makes it looks as if it sags in the rear...but taking turns at high speeds is very satisfying...

IMO The Stances are too stiff for street use. I ran Suspension Techniques Springs with Koni Yellow and Tokico Illumina adjustables and both combinations were very good street and track performance.

I have KYB AGXs and RB springs. Good combination so far. My only basis of comparison is the 20 year old stock stuff, but either way the difference was night and day. The car dropped about an inch which so far has not provided any issues regarding curbs or jacking.

I also put KYB agx shocks/struts and racing beat springs on my NA and it's great bang for the buck. That combination really got rid of the dive and roll and bumps are dealt with quickly and not harshly. I could definitely drive that combination everyday and be happy. The drop was also good. Night and day difference from worn stock suspension.

I have cusco coilovers (non adjustible type, not exactly sure which model) on my turbo vert and they are too harsh for the street. On glass smooth roads they're awesome, but too harsh for the roads. They came with the car so eventually I'll probably go for tein flexes.

Anyway, good luck.
