Are all FC shifters the same (lower ball, length) for NA , TII 86- 91 except for the shifter **** thread?

 

s4 and s5 shifter have different threads on the top,where you put the **** on.I am fairly certain though that the Height and the Physical aspect of them are the same though.(meaning the lower ball and the big ball are spaced the same).

 

That is correct. I have swapped an s5 t2 trans into my s4 n/a vert, and aside from the thread, there is no difference in feel or height.
