RXciting, I can tell you right now I like the idea, but would love to see what yours will look like and how much/long to make one. Are you going for a stock looking replacement, or something "nifty"?

Ok for this I would need to accuire a sample to make a mold from. If I could borrow one that would be awesome.

custome fiberglass ******* can't remember the name of the peice .. ahh center consol from dash to the little box.. all 1 peice with a bit smoother curve bringing the consol to elbow height.... loved that in my 91 eclipse .. just leave my arm on the consol and my hand on the shifter.. always ready for action

I would like to have the Aero/Sport package frontlip and thingies infront of the wheels. Mine are all rusted in the mounting brackets so IU ripped them off and threw them away.
I regret doing that as I could have used them as a mould for fiberglass ones

Hmm from that pic they posted I could only tell they are just a bit wider than stock right? Anything else that is different?
I plan on starting this stuff in about a month so I have some time to get got at going this kind of work. Again if anyone wants to lend me thier original or aftermarket parts for me to make copies of I would appreciate it a lot. This would also cut the price of the finished product a LOT! Anyone that provides me with a sample to work from will receive their copy at COST

I have only seen one transparant hood and it was on a honda civic. I am not sure what kind of material I would need to hold up to the under hood temps that our cars make. I love the idea though I just need some research for a good material to use.
