FC oil pump fitment

Well, a couple searches turned up too many vague results to sift through... I looked through half a dozen or so, then decided to taunt the search ****'s.

I know there are differences between the TII and NA oil pumps...

I'm looking to upgrade my oil system a bit. I've modified my stock rear regulator the way pineapple shows in their video, and shimmed the front regulator.. I would like to swap in a TII oil pump to replace my NA one. Is the bolt pattern and functionality the same? I think I heard before that its a common upgrade. But not common enough to show up in a search a bunch of times.

A simple "Yes, it will work" or "No, yer nuts" is fine, but more information would be appreciated.

Turbo oil pump has a wider "rotor" - 17.5mm?
The non-turbo one is narrower.
Functionally, they will swap over no problem.

Yes, the bolt pattern is the same. Simply bolt it on, no modifications.

I think the N/A is about 12mm compared to 17.5

I did the mods you mentioned and installed a TII pump. I am idling at 60psi.

How do you tell the difference without dissasembling them?

I thought they were all the same and threw my NA and turbo pumps in the same box.

They are visibly bigger from what I remember.. Good to know they bolt right up. 60psi at idle sounds like a great point to hit. Whats the stock idle pressure? 35-45?

I don't think you can tell the difference without pulling them off. All you have to do is pull out the main gear and it will be thicker (17.5 mm as opposed to about 12mm). They look pretty identical except for the thickness of the gears.
