FC interior (dome) lighting wiring question

Hello all.

Quick question for the FC electrical wiring gurus out there. I am in the process of wiring a dome illumination relay for an alarm install on the FC. I have concluded that the door triggers are negative (-) switched, but I cannot seem to figure out if the dome lights are negative (-) or positive (+) switched. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks

The door switches provide a ground trigger to the room light circuit.

Ok so when wiring in an illumination relay for an alarm, should the wiring go as follows?

85 - 12V fused
86 - lead from the alarm
*30 to 87a - (Ground)
87 - light trigger (Blue/red on fc harness)

*30 to 87a not sure if this should be ground or 12V fused

thanks again
