FC to FD alternator. NEED NEW SPACER?

I just got my fd alternator, and am having a problem. The long bolt on the left has a spacer, and It will not fit on the fd alternator. I searched and was suprized that no-one else has had this problem.

The spacer from the original alternator fits, you just gotta jam it in there. Use a strong screw driver or something to get extra leverage makeing the gap as big as you can.

No new spacer needed, just make sure it's in the correct spot otherwise you'll eat your belts eventually.
