Ive had all the solenoids near the throttle body hat removed to fit a straight through FMIC piping setup installed & also had some larger secondary injectors fitted.
Now that its been tuned for this setup, when its cold it idles pretty lumpy & will shoot flames on deceleration....i.e backed off at 65k's in 4th & it shot flames when it got to 60
Now when its warm it doesnt backfire at all, do you reckon that it could be related to the removal of those emissions solenoid?? Like maybe a vac line that has been just blocked off needs a signal??
Ive also noticed that my cruising fuel consumption as deteriorated heaps since the secondary upgrade & emmision removal. Could that be related to the emissions gear? Bcos if im going to get better fuel consumption with them their Ill ignore how ugly they are & put them back
