I could not find the other good pics of the Infini II Here is a Mazda Catalog and it shows the sport wing with out the brake light cutout.

 

the winning limited FC3S was a lot of 1000 Cars made to commemorate the Mazda win of La mans. All cars where 1991. They came with infini tower bar but inside the car was GT-X seats. This car had back seats. The wheels where BBS the same size as infini but the center caps said BBS on them. MOMO Steering wheel.


The FC3C Final Version was Shade Green convertible with tan leather seats
1992 500 cars
the wheels where BBS the same as Inifni but where gold colored with BBS center caps

 

My car has the momo steering wheel (looks like the infini one, but has a momo button)
Rear seats, rear strut tower bar (cusco carbon fiber)
Non bronzed windows
Only Radio and it did came with AC
VIN plate says paint code GU (i love shade green! )







So what did the winning limited come with compared to the infini iv? Same but with back seats? torsen diff and 4.33 rear end?

I'm assuming my car is now a winning limited rather then a infini 4 (it is a 1991 model)

I just want to have an idea of what the rear end might be as i was looking at getting a kazz 2way. My did does lock, but when i had 1 wheel off the ground one it didn't (i know torsens do that, but also worn out VLSDs ;P)

Any insight would be nice

 

Nice I would have to agree that your car is a Winning Limited. Congratulations that is a very cool catch. I have been looking for one to add to my collection of rotary cars. You got a 1 of a 1000. Did you buy it from Japanese dealer auction for canada?

is your hood steel or alum? The Winning Limited's where based on the GT-X version. You can see the MOMO steering wheel with the yellow momo button

bought it from some guy in vancouver. he bought it from some importing company. I knew it was an infini iv or something due to the factory paint :P

So its basically just a normal s5 gt-x? vlsd etc?

I guess I won't know about the rear end until i crack it open

 

yeah the GT-X in Japan had Steel hood, where the GT-R had Aluminum hood. I think it used the same lsd as the stock GT-X

 

I've been thinking of doing something like that as well with my TII. If I change the exterior color, I was thinking some sort of dark green, be it one of Mazda's colors or something similar. I've also been contemplating getting my seats redone at an upholstery shop with some dark tan center inserts and the rest black. The RX-8 used to have a Nordic Green exterior color available and a black leather/chaparral seat color combination. What I'm thinking of doing is essentially the same color combination.

On the first gran turismo game the FC on arcade mode is an efini III. Did GT get the Infini part wrong? Or was there an Efini FC?
