FC Coolant temp gauge not working

Had this issue since I picked up my FC, figured I'd open the question on the forums and see if you guys can help.

Have an 88 GTU with the stock gauge cluster. Speedometer works fine. Tach will sometimes not work, then come on at some random point during a drive. But since I picked up the car, the coolant temp and battery voltage gauges have not come on once. I'm fine with the battery voltage not working, but definitely would like to see the coolant temp so I can know if I'm overheating, as I have a small radiator leak... Any thoughts as to what could be causing this?

Regarding your water temperature gauge not working, I would first check the sending unit and/or wire connecting to the sender which is located under the oil filter pedestal.

What does the sending unit look like? Not sure what I would be looking for... Would I be looking for corrosion? Low voltage to the unit? Broken wiring harness?

Awesome. I'll check that first, and see if that solves it!
