FC Brake Rotor Question
FC Brake Rotor Question
Hey guys,
I purchased new rotors all around for my 91 FC. Currently my rotors in the rear are vented, but the rotors in that received are solid. Would the solid rear rotors work on my car? I was not aware that the FC's had different rotors.

You probably can, but due to the thickness difference you will have funny pad wear. And worse case your piston will fallout of the caliper eventually.
You can avert this by getting the right rear disks, or get the non vented calipers and brackets.

Take them back and get the proper rotors, you cannot run those rotors with the setup you've got on the car, it requires different calipers and mounts to run those rotors, and that would be a downgrade.

You mean the seller didn't ask if you needed vented or solid rears? Even eBay sellers usually ask you to specify between the two, where did you buy them?
