FC AC? haha

Hey guys, sorry to bog you down with a non tech/tuning question, but I live in Orlando, FL and It's gonna be getting hot soon. My AC system is giving me a problem at the moment. It blows air, but for some reason, when I hit the A/C button on the climate controller, it doesn't engage.

Does anyone have any information that could help me? Thanks again!

Could be:
Bad logicon
Bad compressor
Blown fuse
Are you absolutely sure the compressor is not engaging? Or is it working but not blowing cold air?

Or maybe the exciter wire on the compressor is unpluged.

You're sure the thing has refrigerant? have you tested the pressure?

Pull the two wires off the pressure switch on the drier and jumper them together. Turn the key to ON and then turn the a/c and fan on. The compressor clutch should engage.

IF the clutch engages, immediatley turn the unit OFF. The meaning of this is that the refrigerant is low. Too low to run it. Refill.

If the compressor still does not engage, then remove the relay and see if it is getting 12v and or check the compressor and make sure it's single wire is connected.
