Agreed. Personally I think most people will port their engine rather than do a ton of weight reduction like you (GLHS) did. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just that most will not go that far. Porting is the most viable option for the majority of people. I am doing slight weight reduction (no A/C, P/S, aluminum hood, remove sound deadening, etc..) but nothing to the extent that you have.

ive only done a few wieght reduction mods, i need to do some more this port is barely bigger than stock, I did it when I had the auto tranny in there so I wasnt concerned about speed that much then.

here are all my slips from last friday. I havent scanned them in but this is what they say

i like that one 90 mph trap

the trapspeeds look alittle wierd, something with our stupid track's sensors

6.2371------330 FT
9.6334------1/8 ET
72.23-------1/8 MPH
12.5559----1000 ET
83.42-------1000 MPH
14.8951----1/4 ET
88.61-------1/4 MPH

run 2

0.6204------RT
2.2442------60 FT
6.2637------330 FT
9.6965------1/8 ET
71.42-------1/8 MPH
12.6401----1000 ET
83.25-------1000 MPH
14.9714----1/4 ET
90.01-------1/4 MPH

run 3 shitty just plain fucked up, let off at the end

0.5875------RT
2.2909------60 FT
6.4335------330 FT
9.8553------1/8 ET

No, what you really need is an LSD. That open diff is what's spinning your wheel (notice the lack of 's')
