fastest NA times

whats the fastest anyone has run NA here??

i got a 14.89 w/ a 12.55 1000ft

then i got a 12.43 1000ft, so i figure thats a 14.7 or so

This is a very mild streetport and then the regular bolt-ons

I think around a 14.4 is the quickest so far...

i ran a 8.9 in the 1/8th mile
stock s4 block non ported
and bolt ons that would be around 14.0-14.1 1/4 mile time

1000ft? I've never seen that before.... what's that??
Is this with a G-tech or something?
If you ran at a track what were your other times? (60ft, and your mph????)
If you ran this with a gtech, I ran a 13 flat with one, then ran a 15 flat at the track a month later. I don't find them accurate in rx-7 at all for some reason, probably because of all the rear end squat.

I just got a GXL parts car equipped with Magnecor plug wires and an aftermarket Y-pipe. So Ill swap those and the wheels/hubs/brakes/and LSD off of it and put it on mine. Ill get some street slicks sometime too and Ill hopefully be able to run low 14s.

There are a few of us shooting to hit 13's staying N/A (me included, see sig). It seems like the average time for a pretty healthy bolt on N/A is in the very high 14s/low 15s.

14.53 @ 94 mph... All stock original engine, RB header and cone filter. Also has weight reduction.

1988 SE

Since alot of peeps are guessing times.. I think with slicks it will run 13.9, because on that 14.5 run... first and second absolutly went no where, just sat and spun...maybe faster than 13.9...Hrmm

The question is who is going to be the first to get an n/a 2nd gen into the 13s? Maybe we should start a poll.

Hell anybody could do it on a stock clutch... they'd just have to replace it after a few runs.

I think it can be done. I'd do it myself except I've already got all the parts for my TII swap except the actual J-Spec...and I want to be able to run low twelves, not high thirteens Maybe after college I'll give it a go.

That's the target for a few locals in SWMO's SPRX-7 club. Myself and PowerOverFC. S5 vs. S4

But then again, isn't it the target for everyone who owns an N/A RX-7 w/ more than a few bolt-on's?

I should be a canidate for 13s although my gears are so tall and I need a standalone bad.

Just 100 miles to go. And im sure its been done before but has it been done with posted results , pics and Dyno numbers ? Probly not. Ill get some as soon as possible though porbly the end of the month.

What plans do you have for converting your car to nitromethane? (from your sig)

I don't think a ported engine should be allowed..that doesn't really show anything to me.

Why not? If that's the case, weight reduction shouldn't be allowed either

My two cents!
