Fast Idle Cam?? Help!
Ok i have the throttle body off of my 91' n/a and i want to set the fast idle cam according to the fsm. The screw that adjusts the fast idle and the screw that adjusts the cam have been tampered with that is why i want to set them right to the fsm. But what it says in the fsm is check the vehicle and throttle body must be at 77 degrees F . Then check the matching mark on the fast idle cam is aligned with the center of the cam roller. Has anyone done this??? How do you know if the thottle body is at 77 degrees without one of those laser thermosensers?? I don't have one , but can i still get a right measurement without one somehow, i've heard that the fast idle cam can be pretty sensitive and can make a big difference with small adjustments. Anyone that can help please do... thanks

in a nutshell, do it when the car is "cold" IE you havent started it yet
do it on a warm day when its say, 75-80 degrees outside, make sure the cars parked in the sun for an hour or to. should get it to about the right temp.
