BOV sound

from what Ive heard of BOV sounds the BLITZ comes closest to the metalic whistling sound. I thought it sounded cool to.

i'm resurrecting it again
that sound was the sound that a BOV makes, but they just emphasized it so all the ricers would notice it. if you are sitting there revving your car, its hard to get the turbo to spoolup and let off that pressure when you let off the gas (cause there isnt exhaust flow from engine, which is what the turbo needs to make boost)
the only thing making that sound is the blow off valve... they either have an HKS SS bov tuned for a really low boost car, or they emphasized that sound with computers...

To answer the original question, that was a blitz bov. But to be spooling at like 3 grand (probably wasnt revving much higher) it would need to be a smaller turbo. Or it may have been an atmospheric vented wastegate. After hearing a rotary on a straight pipe, trust me. Its no whistle, its a roar Good way to get a real aggressive sounding car. Who knows, that movie was made by many stupid people.

I mean how much HP did they say that car had, 600 or did they not say? I can't remember but I know cars can do that.
Yes. Cars can do wheelies, but the moment they break the tires loose like that in a wheelie, it comes down. It doesnt keep going.

And for the dude who gets told his fuel injection makes a whistle @ 4k, no thats your turbo spooling. Next time someone tells you that, take off your downpipe, rev to 4k, and tell them to stick their finger in the turbo . Have a nice day.
