farken clutch something or another problem.

well heres the deal. i can press the clutch pedal, but it stays pressed. and all i have to do is pop it back out.it happened while i was driving. i think that the hose is fine cus i have some fluid in the thing that says if its full or not, and its above the low mark. someone told me that ford has the same problem, and he said that since the car is a fard, then it could be the same thing. farken noob.

but yeah. i press it, and it stays pressed in. i can pull it out eaisally. maybee the spring or the rubber washer in the master is busted?

sounds like you grenaded your clutch.

Does the car still move?
Does the clutch actually disengage when you press the clutch down?

you got air in the thing....... add fluid to the full mark, bleed the line, refill the fluid.. Bleeding the clutch is about the same as bleeding the brakes... get someone to hold the clutch to the floor, then open the valve on the slave and repeat a few times. put a tube on the valve to keep from spraying fluid all over the bay

could be air in the line, could be a kinked or deteriorated hose, could be a binding clutch or slave cylinder. start with the basics, bleed the system and do a visual inspection of the line and slave/master cylinders.

i dont think i grenaded the clutch. and i dont think the line is kinked. i think that there could be a hole in the line. im not sure. ill end up getting a new ss barided hose and get a new master cylander.
