Fan wont tsop spinning

Hey my belt driven fan wont stop spinning, so even before it it up to temp. it spins.

any ideas?

it will always spin, you cant really visually see if its on or off, but u can feel and hear if its moving air. if you think its faulty then replace the fan clutch

When it's cold, the fan should freewheel a little more than when it's hot. You should be able to feel a difference in resistance between the two extremes.

yea i know its viscious and so when it gets to a certain temp itll stop free spining, i just dont know what happened...

Your fan is operating as it should. It will spin always.
