Fan selection

I am looking to remove my clutch fan and AC belt. I am going to install an electric fan(s). My radiator is around 21-22 inches wide. I was wondering if i should go with 2 10inch fans (one blowing on radiator and one on engine), or just one 16inch fan on the radiator or engine. I dont think it would make much of a difference but just asking for some opinions.
Thanks

go with a single fan from another car, like a taurus or something along those lines, they have built in shrouds and work well, pay attention to the wiring and what will control it as well.

Also i said in the original post that im going to remove my AC belt. I noticed it was attached to the water pump but but also noticed the alternator belt was attached to it. I was wondering If i could just remove the AC belt and run the water pump off the Alt belt alone.
Thanks again!

Yes you can, but they are prone to slip at higher rpm which could lead to premature engine failure. Dual alt belt pully fixes this.

On my 87 n/a motor I am only running the alt. belt and air pump belt. I haven't had any problems with it over heating and I drive my car pretty hard on the mountains around here.

so you are running 2 belts, not a single alternator belt
