If the car is in good condition then is a fair price. It all depends on the condition of the car.

4k is steap and 66k probably means it wasnt driven much... I duno but without seeing it Id have to say no for an 86 Base N/A.

4k is Clean Modded TII Teritory...

If your looking for a good deal, sometimes theres a good deal in the FS section of this board

thanks for all the replies, I didn't have a chance to take picture of the car today, but i ll try to discribe it a little.

well, first of all, the engine bay is clean! almost like new, the body is nice, it had a dent at the rear left quater, but the body shop restored it, and it's now dentless, paint is quite nice too. inside is very clean too, nothing really wrong as far as i can see.

but ya, 4k is quite steap for a 86...how much would be a fair price for me to ask?

Look at bluebook, but $4k for a low mileage, well maintained NA is high, but not unreasonable.

Major things to look at: Check for rust on the underside, especially along the edges and on the frame rails. Look for crushed frame rails, evidence the car was jacked improperly. Make sure all the electronics and AC work properly.

If it's really in spotless condition, with no rust, it might be worth close to that. Definitely over $3k.
