E-Fan selection
Which E-fan would be the best to buy to replace the stock fan?
I plan on staying all N/A. Mods to come will mostly be S5 intake (electric activation), standalone eventually, and an aggressive street port.
I live in an area that doesn't see much more then 105 degree F, during the summer. Temps are usually in the 80's to 90's. Northwest U.S.
I was considering the Flex-A-Lite Black Magic. Is this excessive? Or just right? I was wondering what would be the best fan to keep the car cool. There isn't a lot of stop and go traffic around this area, lots of highway driving, so fan isn't used a lot.
The reason I am replacing the stock fan isn't for some mad horsepower. I am replacing it to clean up the engine bay and because my stock fan is always on. I don't mean it is constantly spinning, but the clutch is always engaged. Even at high RPMs. I first noticed this when I started the car up in the morning, it was cold, and I heard a slight click, and with the hood up, I could feel the fan starting to blow tons of air. So, at first I thought maybe I was wrong, but my car never reaches above the point that is slightly less then 1/4 temp.
So, what should I buy? I am looking for good performance, and a good price. I don't want to skimp with the cheapest, but I don't want to buy something that I am not going to be fully utilizing.
Thanks guys. Let me know if you need more info.

Icemark, thanks, and yea, I read the faq.
On Mazdatrix, a fan clutch is $190. I have found a Black Magic for $150.
I know I can setup the fan to be off while in 5th gear, and wire it to a thermoswitch. The only thing that really bothers me is the 30 AMP draw. I don't have an FD alt right now, but will probably get one as soon as I can find one for around $80-$100.
I know that the stock fan is great! I never planned on going to an E-Fan until I realized that it was constantly on, and then looked at the price of a new fan clutch.
So, for the price I was considering electric. I do enjoy clean engine bays.
.
Thanks for the information guys. Please keep it coming.
