failure to start: Electrical

DONT DRIVE WHILE TIRED. so yeah at about 1230am after working from ooh 800am i stalled my car at a stoplight flooded it then killed the battery. I had a spare battery. i was so tired and it was kinda dark (1230) i hooked up the jumper battery backwards twice. the car just barely barely turned over with 12.00volts. it was the slowest creepiest death turn over EVER. i pulled the main fuse this morning and i can tell it has been heated some of the copper plating has flaked off. it still makes contact however. There at no breaks in the fuse. soo i guess me hooking up the battery backwards twice was bad enough to NOT fry the fuse but fry something else in that circuit.. So i ask you guys. Whats cooking..... what got fried in that circuit that the car umm wont even CLICK to turn over. (perhaps a relay?) Im getting no action....

If your main fuse didn't melt, it's possible some other weak link did instead. Check your main engine grounds, hell remove them and clean them up while you're at it. Check that little tiny one that goes to the firewall and the UIM, that one has a tendency to melt/catch fire at times. Let me know how it looks after all of that.

Edit: If it doesn't even click, I'd check power @ the starter, and then check the smaller wire on the spade connector to make sure it has B+ voltage when someone turns the key to 'START'
