factory service manuel

i have a factory service manuel and i was looking through it to find a diagram oh where the wire from the O2 sensor goes. i can find many different diagrams of both the ECU and the engine elctrical systems but i guess i just cant read it proberly. im looking basically for a pic of the plug telling which each wire is and where it comes from. is there such an image in the book does neone know?

Here are some basics on how to use the FSM (page numbers listed assume the 88 manual):

1) Try to look up the part in the Parts index. If you look on page 50-11, you will see the O2 sensor indexed to pages 50-25, 31. If you look at these two pages, you will notice that 50-25 is for the TII, while 50-31 is for the NA.

2) It is usually easier to find the part on the accompanying connector page, rather than the wiring diagram itself. For example, it is rather difficult to find the O2 sensor on page 50-25, so look on the next page, 50-26. There you will see that the O2 sensor connector is EM-29, which is a rounded single-pin connector with a gray wire. Now you can look back at the wiring diagram on page 50-25, and it is now a little easier to find the O2 sensor, which is in the lower left corner.

3) Use the harness diagrams at the back of the manual to find how the part is wired to the harness. Since the O2 sensor has an EM prefix (EM-29), we know that it is attached to the Emissions Harness. Looking at the System Name table of contents on page 50-2, the Emissions Harness diagram is on page 50-117. Now that you know what the connector looks like (from step 2), it is easy to locate in the upper part of the diagram (just as long as you don't confuse it with the knock sensor, hehehe).
