If I leave my door unlocked my alarm goes off after 5 minutes or so. That doesn't seem right. Surely they didn't design this thing so you have to lock your door? Anyone else seen this? Any input would be appreciated.

 

mine doesnt do that.... sounds as if you might have a faulty wire somewhere... so that when you leave it unlocked and the wire suddenly works it thinks you just unlocked the door... thats my best guess... try checking the resistance of the wires for any breaks or loose connections
