The problem with this idea is the different sizes of the intake manifold tubes (for lack of the corret term). On the S4 IM the two inner intake tubes are smaller, and you would have to account for that. Then there would be the issue of having them work with the 5th and 6th ports, if you were going to keep them.

IMHO its way more trouble than its worth, for the time and money that would have to be involved. I would spend the money and time on porting and matching your currnet manifold, and then doing something like a mega squirt.

Give Jimmy a call at:

Fuji Racing

I'm pretty sure he's worked with some rotary drag cars that are making big power. He's a nice guy, very helpful.

IIRC BanzaiToyota on this forum runs an ITB setup on his N/A AutoX car. You might want to PM him for some more details.

your gonna need an aftermarket ems to tune it though... if i were you i would save money for a rebuild with a streetport, unless of course you already have a rebuilt engine...

getting itbs and an ems including tuning would probably run you probably around $2k... theres probably a lot of things you need to get done/replaced on your 20 year old car

you need.....

TWM "webber style side draft" throttle body (2 barrel? lol), has fuel rail, can use i believe bosch injectors or soemthing... you can some how make the tps work i forgot how or which one..

haltech or megasquirt or something to make the car run right...

the racingbeat upper "webber side draft" manifold,

and a spacer of course so it will clear your second set of injectors down below...

you want to....

port match and smooth out the rb manifold, make a matching, if i remember right, 1 inch thick spacer between the upper and stock lower manifold, port out the lower manifold, and uhh some expensive tuning, or you can try and figure this one out... and you be good to go... cost wise... i cant tell you, its relativly expensive and its a nice setup, make a cold box around the itbs, and route it to some cold air source

or you can carb the vehicle, which is to personal preference....

im going for that set up with the itb and i think i wanna go megasquirt... (i heard it works better with twm stuff...)

Me being one of them, turbo though.

The tweakit lower manifold pricing is damned good and hard to beat. The TB's/rails/etc I can beat by quite a bit.
