a/f ratio gauge question....

just hooked up my autometer boost gauge and air/fuel gauge, but it seems like the a/f gauge isnt working. any time the car is running the gauge is pegged on the last bar in rich and it doesnt move at all, is there any way that my car is running that rich or is there something wrong with the gauge, or the way we hooked it up? any replys would be helpful, thanks

Did you hook it up at the sensor or at the ECU? If it's at the sensor, there's your problem. If it's at the ECU, check you have the correct wire.

I must be crazy. I posted this link for the A/F Ratio Guage Installation 3 times In the last month. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ighlight=ratio

The Search function Is pretty resourceful - when It's fully operatible.

Just be careful you're not accidentally shorting a shielded wire.
I connected mine at the ECU.

The O2 sensor wire is shielded after the connector. If you run it directly to the O2 sensor, you need to connect before the sensor harness joins the engine harness. Because of this, it's usually easier to make your connection at the ECU.
