Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
you are not touching the accell pedal when starting it right (except to un-flood it, when that happens)???
and you are not shutting it off before warmed to operating temp, right?
if it is still flooding then you probably have very low compression.

Like Icemark said if you are starting and shutting it down properly you could have low compression, or you could have some fuel pressure/injector problems.
Everyone seems to throw the "rebuild your motor" flag all the time. There are some fuel pressure tests that you can do to see if possible your injectors are leaky (Did you put new injectors in or used ones?) or your FPR is bad (could also cause your injectors to leak under to much pressure). The factory manual or the Hayes manual, both have procedures to tell you how to perform these tests. You will just need to buy a fuel pressure test kit ($20.00 local Kragen/Pep Boys/etc).
But to back up Icemark, it would not hurt to get a compression check done as well.

I had the same problem a year ago. Turns out my ECU was sending a signal to my injectors to turn on before the engine got started and flooded the **** out of it. I had to pinch the fuel line in the beginning but I found an easier way. Just disconnect that yellow harness under the steering wheel and cranked, and as it was about to start, plug it in. It helps if you are not 6'0'' foot tall. Have you check the pulsation damper..? Maybe my terrible time will help you through yours.
