Angry f**k**g wiper switch

I change the relay of my wiper switch and it still doesn't work. Somebody knows why ???
Sometimes I hate my fc just because of those damn electrical problems (wiper switch, dash lights, clock, interior light)

thanks

THERE'S A GUY SOMEWHERE ON THE NET THAT REPAIRS THOSE FAILED WIPER SWITCHES , THE PROBLEM WITH THE SWITCHES IS IN NO HIGH SPEED, OR THE PARK SETTING WON'T WORK , BUT I THINK THAT THE REGULAR WIPER SPEED WORKS ???

Yeah, I have the same problem...anyone know how to fix it? My regular wipers work fine, but the slow and fast ones only work sometimes? I heard this was a PITA to fix, is that true?

Yea, my wipers only work on the normal setting. Anything else they don't.

Just to let everyone know, i've put a mirror of that page for a while.. it's avalible at http://www.emmaarmadillo.com/wonko/rx7/ - They put a VERY stupid script at the bottom, that's why it it constantly refreshed.. it annoyed me enough to save it, so you guys can too

Wink Relays locally..............

That relay is a very common pin arrangement used on PCB mount relays, you can probably find them locally at Radio Shak or an electronics parts house, just print out the pin diagram and bring it a store and tell them you need one of these relays in the 8 amp or higher rating.

You could even extend the leads with wire and use two VERY cheap and common relays that alarm guys (like I used to be) use for starter kill on alarms, they are rated at 30-40 amps and will last forever for this application.

Just trying to help make this quicker/cheaper for folks that can solder fairly well,
