Extrememly hard to start
My 88 GXL is very hard to start, could a walboro fp make it more difficult to start, i installed one a month or so ago and a few other problem have come up so its pretty hard for me to decide if that caused the problem. The only reason i actually put the fuel pump in is because i'm basically in the process of getting everything needed for a turbo swap. I installed a fuel cut switch but its still really hard to start. Maybe its flooding it really bad? It definatly smells of gas when i crank it for more than a few seconds. Thanks for any info guys.
Last night i pulled the Walboro and guess what, this morning it started quite easily. That answers my question! The walboro was flooding it way more than the stock fuel pump.
