Extremely cheap rebuild kit?

I have an s4 13b engine that i was thinking about rebuilding for the time being till i can start my turbo project later. My engine has weber dcoe 48 carb, racing beat intake, act 6 puck clutch, accel ignition system and some other little things. I saw on atkins rotary a 86-88 13b n/a 2mm overhaul kit "A" it says its $330 bux and comes with the whole gasket kit and rotor seals and ect. The engine did run fine before i pulled it out my car. Would this kit be good enough for me or do i need to get the next level kit? Also the engine does have over 100,000 miles on it easly. Any kind of help would be great cuz i just want to get my car up and running realllll sooon!

the cheapest you can do a true overhaul for is ~$500, the atkins overhaul kit you are looking at probably doesn't include apex seals which cost an additional $215 plus i don't think it comes with installation gaskets. check the archived rebuild parts list thread.

and on a side note, rushing through a first time rebuild is NOT a good idea, you may as well flush your money down the toilet if you think you can do it quick and easily the first time.
