Exterior side strips falling off...

mm.. those silly black plastic side strips in the middle of the doors (or, colour matched to the body for S5's).. My driver's side one is peeling off.. About 1 foot in the front is loose, hanging down, and flapping in the breeze as I drive..

What's a good thing to glue this back on? I was considering trying liquid nails (as this is about the only "adhesive" i have handy), but I figure i'd check here first, so someone can yell at me how that takes paint off, or something..

3M makes a double-sided molding tape that works wonders. Clean the surface that you want to stick well with alcohol or the like, and stick it on. That tape works wonders.

You can get it at most auto parts stores - it's grey tape with a red backing.

If the paint beneath them is in good shape, why not just take them off? I believe I saw that on someones car on the forum. Felix Wankel maybe?

There is an idea... I was thinking about gluing them back, but removing them seems like a better idea.
