Quick rear hub question

I have a bent rear hub, can the hub be removed from the hub carrier? If so how does it come out, can a puller be used, or does it need to be pressed out? Thanks for the help.

it can be removed. it could be removed with a large slide hammer, but would need a press to install. removal will most likely damage the rear wheel bearing also. so make sure you have one or one is readily available. this may be your problem as the bearing is usually damaged in any side impact(this is what happened to me). good luck
