exterior parking/turn signal lights not working

Question exterior parking/turn signal lights not working

i dont know what fuse might be blown , i dont have a fuse box cover so i dont know which fuse is which. i need to know what color and number fuse that controls the exterior parking/turn signal lights, my headlights and break lights are working fine, so are my interior lights. thx in advance =)

The parking lights are fed from the 15A ILLUM fuse and the turn indicators are fed from the 15A TURN fuse. See the FAQ sticky for pics of the fusebox covers.

im gonna chk the fuses tommorow, but lets say thats not the problem, what would be your 2nd best logical guess to the problem?

Ditto. Had the same problem on my first 86 n/a. Its a very common problem. The previous owner evidently used a jumper wire in one of the relays (which in turn made the headlights come on when you just turn to parking lights). I would not recommend this, as it is just a 'jerry-rig'. Removed your headlight switch and resolder all the cold solder points, unless of course your switch is just completely fried....then just get a new one. I think Icemark repairs/remanufacturers them, right?

ok i know my last post was like a month ago on this, ive been lazy to replace the fuses lol, but now my brake lights arnt working, what fuse controls them? ive looked in the FAQ for the fuse box pic but i duno which one controls it, help a noob out =)
