extended inner tie rod comparison

I had purchased a set of coilovers and included with the deal i was given this set of inner "extended" tie rod ends. i cant find a brand or any marking on them what so ever. he claimed they are extended but as you can see they're equal length to the stocker. the only difference is the ball joint pivot point is extended further out on the new shinny black ones. can someone tell me if these are what they are said to be?

if it matters my car is a 86 base w/ manual steering rack and the old rod in the picture is from the left/driver side

im lowering my car considerably and i think i will be needing extended rods or outer rod ends

those tie rod ends will allow more steering angle. you can see that on the stock end the threads end at a large flat surface, and the new end their is a smaller diameter section that extends to the large flat surface; that extended section allows the rack to move in more thus causing increased steering angle.

okay now I understand how these things enable more steering angle. That's great, but I was thinking these would allow me to next to zero out my toe angle when slammed. If I understand correctly, correcting toe is the real issue when lowering these cars, now I don't think these accommodate for that. perhaps I need outer tie rods?

I have those same tie rods and there is plenty of room to adjust toe, just like stock. Maybe you're thinking of bump steer?

I got them from eyecandy (see this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=854258)

Bumpsteer isn't an issue for me but I keep my car high enough to clear speedbumps.
