ur secondary ports are opened at 3500 rpm due to vacume ... and as for ur high rpm stutter .. coulkd be many things .. plugs wires fuel problum vacume leak many many things and varaibles to consider .. mine did it to altho it is intermittent so im leaning more towards plugs and wires also could be ur coils .. after all the car is getting old possibly even ur injectors they have to be cleaned rather often due to the crudless of fuel not always does the fuel filter catch it all

Nope. The secondary ports are opened by your right foot. On S4's the auxiliary ports are opened by exhaust backpressure. On S5's they're opened by air pump pressure via ECU-switched solenoid valves.

If the auxilary ports aren't opening properly you'll just lose top-end power. It won't cause hesitation.

well, I wonder if he means hesitation or if he means lack of power and said hesitation for lack of better wording. Mine on higher speeds like in 4th and 5th, if I get on it, it just doesnt seem to be pulling right, I am thinking that the cats might be clogged, because in all gears the auxillary ports seem to either not open or open too late, some times as late as 5500rpms. Open exhaust helps on top end, so I am thinking you will have a good power loss the more clogged or blocked your exhaust is. Ordered my Racing Beat downpipe/presilencer combo, here on 1-11-06, cant wait.
