Exhaust Wrap?

I got my RB cat replacement pipe the week. I also bought some Thermo-tec exhaust wrap and paint. What did you all use to hold the wrap in place? The instructions says something about hose clap??? Are they talking about the regular hose clamps you find on ends of a radiator hose?? Can I use that or do I need something else? Thanks

I would use some hose clamps that can be screwed tight. Not the cheap ones that are "self-tightening." (my NA had these on the radiator hoses)

Thermotec sell clamps specifically for this. Get them from the same place you got the wrap.

I had some stainless steel pull type CV boot clamps lying around that I used. They look really nice and flush (so no tightening screws sticking out). Sorry I can't remember the correct name for the type of CV boot clamp that they are, but they are the type that you need the pull tool to tighten them, not those cheap click on ones.

The ones that Thermo-Tec sells are nice, but a bit pricey for clamps.

But like the others said, any stainless steel screw type clamp will do the job.
