Question Exhaust System recommendations (Primarily Catalytic Converters)

I have just been informed that I need a new exhaust system basically all the way back (Cats, Y-Pipe, Mufflers, etc.) I know the Corksport exhaust is the ticket for the money, but in regards to high flow cats (that won't require a 3rd mortagage) I could use some help. I do have to have the Cats as they are phasing in the emissions tests for inspection next year.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Darren

I've got a Random Technologies, very happy with that. I have a downpipe connected right to the cat, and the Borla afterwards. Pass emissions every other year as required, no problems.

But 3rd mortgages are normal for RX7 repairs......

Good picture of what you need to visit shops for estimate:

An old mindtrain catalog lists a NA downpipe($80) and separate cat($300).

I would think that it would be cheaper to have a muffler/undercarriage shop construct the downpipe and attach a quality replacement catalytic for less the the $315 mentioned in the link and the $380 mentioned in the Mindtrain catalogue. And, then bolt that to the catback.

They say timing is everything:
