I've got a '91 conv. in which i've had to put the top up and down my hand for about a year now. I've recently started to try to sell the car and took it to the local mazda dealer to see about getting the top fixed. I thought it was just a bad switch somewhere but they told me that BOTH motors had to be replaced at the cost of $1300 a PIECE. This blew my mind. Is this a common occurence with the convertable model or do you think i could somehow fix it myself without replacing the motors?
