Yesterday was waiting in line at McDonalds and car started blowing white smoke. I parked and shut her down checked under hood, coolant and oil were OK. Restarted and revved engine up to 3k and smoking stopped after a few seconds. No further smoking in drive home. Today did it once again when idling at a traffic light, put in neutral and revved and it stopped again. No changes in amount of smoke on cold starts. Advice appreciated.

 

The only time I have seen white smoke from mine was re-starting after I flooded it. Was it a thick white smoke, or mist like?
