If you have $550 bucks to blow on a catback only?

the HKS hyper is pretty much the ****! I have been pleased with mine, except it's not a full 3" pipe

I think the rice-boys have finally clued in on drifting... DAMNIT!

At least this means a few of them will die off. You'll get your **** called on you so fast claiming to drift when you can't. And if you TRY and you have no skill... say bye bye to your ride. Muahaha.... die ricers die.

whatever....ive never heard of an exhuast slanted because of it being a drifting car...nor do you get a slanted exhaust becuase for drifting unless you ram it in the back of something and it bends while drifting...the greddy power extreme catback is about the only slanted exhaust i know of on an rx7 and the reason it is bent is to get the most amount of horsepower out of the exhuast and to create minimal bends....

yes the N1 slants. but its not because of "drift style". like rotorific says, its to keep bends to a minimum. the HKS Hyper slants as well(i think).

uhh, you guys can understand him? I had a hard time making out some stuff. lyke? it's like damn it! and wuh? it's what! Jeeze it's 3 freakin' letter difference, it's not gonna speed up the typing.

Oh yeah, As FC Drifter says, don't go building your car to look drift if you can't. Learn to do it before hand.
On another note, since when does a car "look" drift and not? I can't tell the difference. Maybe I'm an idiot tho.

Anyone mind showing me an example of what a drift car looks like and one doesn't. And plz no fakes, like a Dodge charger next to an AE86.

drift cars are just plain street cars that are overly lowered, overly cambered in the front, and undertractioned in the rear. common drift cars are silvias, FCs, AE86s, 180sx's, and a few others. i got a pic of a "drift style" silvia for you. note the lack of pretty on the car. no bodykit, no wings, not even shiny paint. very few cars setup for drift are actualy good looking. those are cars like the ones in the D1 drift championship. most are just street cars that are made to be expendable in some ways. mismatched wheels are common as well. i fail to see how to "look" drift. i guess i cant see drifting as an aesthetic style.

Christ, I have exactly the OPPOSITE question. Where can I find a $%#^ing cat back that ISN'T slanted. I want to go single, but angled canisters look gay. Can anyone tell me what my options for single pipe catbacks(not duals)? Thanks.

Steve

The only singles worth metioning are the Apex N1 (slants) and the Corksport (slants a LITTLE)

Or you could get a Corksport Muffler ($89 + S/H) and have an exhaust made.

j/k.

I didn't think Skylines (AWD?) could be setup for drift, I thought they would be better suited for Grip.
I should mention, my knowledge of drifting and that is all based off of Initial D (thats how I even learned of the damn style).

i don't know dude, you get that thing on city streets and it won't have any traction and a buttload of torque. i think you could get a pretty nice drift out of it, if you can get it up to speed.

And you won't have to worry about finding a parking spot

aight....to all you haters out there...I was just asking a simple dam question/ opinion..... so and just to let those people know that I WILL MASTER THE DRIFT TECHNIQUES LIKE THE HEEL & TOE, FAINT, ETC... so and I do know about drift....and i'm not a rice....i study drifting and constently watch my drift videos from japan....so just to let "THEDGUY" know that sthe r34 gt kylines are the all wheel drive models...and u could get the other models that are only rear wheel drive which is used for gripping....and the real wheel drive models are mainly used for drifting...i do know that the hichiroku is the best there is to drifting but its so hard to find that car in lousiana....and my bro got a 180sx (240sx) but i have an fc.....so we both will be masters of the drift in the u.s...!!!!!
