exhaust question, help me verify this!!!
Does anybody know if the set up for the cats from the factory in 88 TIIs included a hollow cat looking piece. This guy is claiming that he has a Bonez DP and a Bonez MP on but when I look down I can see that there is an older pipe and what looks to be a cat converter. PLease let me know I think I know the answer but just wi=ould like to verify.
thanks

The factory downpipe contains a "bullet" shaped converter. This is connected to the factory intermediate straight pipe, which in turn is connected to the factory midpipe, which contains the large main converter in front of the "y" pipe. The Bonez downpipe has no converter, painted black, it's connected to the factory straight pipe, which is connected to a Bonez midpipe-which contains a small hi flow converter, @ 1/2 the size of the factory unit. Hope this helps.
