Exhaust question??

I have a racingbeat header, into a racingbeat presilencer, then into a corksport catback from the presilencer. The exhaust is very loud and raspy. What can i do to get it a steady deep tone and alittle more quiet?? Would a cat help? Where would I install it? Would smaller piping help?

You need to get rid of the corksport catback, for starters. It will always be loud and raspy. Putting a cat in where the presilencer is now might help some, but I don't know how much.

buy the full racing beat exhaust, i have never recommended it before now, but it seems to be what your looking for. or you can try adding additional silencer/muffler....

but basically get a different exhaust for a different tone.

I was thinking of getting rid of the corksport catback, and starting over with something different was looking at the racing beat setup but i don't like the look of the mufflers and tips but im almost to the point where looks don't matter as much just as long as i can get rid of the loudness.
